Description

We present natural yarrow hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the stalk of the species Achillea millefolium. The liquid is offered under the name White Yarrow natural hydrolate for perfumery. Botanically, the plant belongs to the Asteraceae family. A canal-shaped endogenous secretory tissue is described inside the tissues of the stems and leaves. The hydrolate ranges from colorless to pale yellow. Constituents such as borneol, bisabolol, pinene, caryophyllene and sabinene have been described for this plant species. The purity of the aroma is due to steam distillation, which is indicated as the extraction method for this aqueous product. The aroma is of medium strength. The sweet and herbal sides of the aroma type are complemented by spicy notes. The entire stalk is processed, which is why substances from the flowers, stems and leaves of the plant pass into the distillate. The raw material originates from Bulgaria, and natural cultivation determines the natural composition of the distillate, to which neither preservatives nor colorants are added. The consistency of the product is liquid. In addition, the secretory tissue and the glandular hairs of the species are associated with the aromatic substances throughout the aerial part of the plant itself. The spicy notes and the sweet and herbal sides remain within the medium strength of the aroma at each of the color values of the liquid. Storage

Store natural yarrow hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the perfumery hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
