Description

We present natural white fir hydrolate for supplements, obtained from the needles of the plant with the botanical name Abies alba, which places the coniferous part at the basis of the entire product. Under the name White Fir natural hydrolate for supplements, the product is also offered abroad. The trees are grown naturally, without the use of artificial agents in maintaining the plantations. The composition follows the cultivation and remains free of preservatives, colorants and other added substances. Only the needles are used for the extraction, since resin canals occur in them as well as in the bark and cones of the same plant. The resinous compounds in the needle tissue support the spicy side of the scent and determine its persistence. The extraction is carried out by steam distillation, which carries only the light volatile substances into the aqueous phase and determines the moderate strength of the scent. The species belongs to the Pinaceae family among the other coniferous trees. The plantations are located in Bulgaria, from where the entire plant mass comes. The scent combines sweetness, herbal character and spicy notes in a calm ratio. Without added dyes, the coloring comes solely from the dissolved plant substances. Limonene, pinene, camphene and bornyl acetate lead among the constituents of the needle oil and explain the spicy hue in the olfactory picture of the distillate.
