The plant is part of the family Rosaceae, and the harvest is gathered in Bulgaria. Its composition is limited to water and the aromatic substances that the petal tissue releases when heated with steam, which is evident in the purity of the finished liquid. No preservatives or colorants are added to the liquid. The purity of the composition stems from the organic gardens, where the roses grow free from chemical agents and from artificial soil fertilization. The harvested flowers reach processing within a short time after picking. The petals provide all the raw material for steam extraction. The rose tissue does not develop glandular hairs, which is why the scent is released from its epidermal layers when heated with steam, while the remaining tissue does not take part in this transfer.
