Description

We present natural Mentha piperita hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the plant Mentha piperita. It is known as Mentha Piperita natural hydrolate for perfumery. The extraction is carried out by steam distillation. The steam method of extraction preserves the minty purity of the fragrance, as the volatile substances remain close to the composition of the original leaf matter. The leaf mass of the plant is processed. The fragrance remains at a high level and combines a minty, fresh and cooling side in a common aromatic profile. The color lies between colorless and slightly greenish, while the consistency remains liquid, clear and homogeneous throughout the entire mass. The greenish tone of the liquid comes from the leaf part used, and the high strength of the fragrance follows directly from the steam method of extraction. The family to which the species belongs bears the name Lamiaceae. The plants develop in Bulgarian plantations, and they are grown naturally without artificial support. The method of cultivation determines the pure composition of the liquid, which accepts no preservatives, colorants or foreign additives. The hybrid origin of the species goes back to a cross of a water representative with a spike-flowered representative of the same genus. The volatile fraction is formed and stored in the glandular hairs on the aerial part of the plant, which is the source of the concentrated minty character of the raw material. Menthol and menthone lead the aromatic picture of the species, with menthyl acetate and limonene standing beside them. Natural cultivation, the leaf raw material and steam extraction come together in a liquid with a light tone and a high level of mint fragrance. It is also used in compositions for sachet fillings, in oils for scenting textiles, as well as in compact aroma blocks for travel. Its stable aroma also allows its inclusion in lines of unisex essences, in compositions for spa rituals with a refreshing element, as well as in home freshening products with a clean, minty character.

Storage

Store natural Mentha piperita hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
