Description
Our natural sage essential oil for pharmaceuticals originates from the plant with the botanical name Salvia officinalis. The product is offered under the name Sage natural essential oil for pharmaceuticals. Its content comprises only the volatile fraction that the aboveground stalk releases to the steam, while the remaining substances stay in the green plant mass of the herb. Preservatives play no part in this fraction, and colourants remain outside the composition of the product and in no way affect its appearance. The natural cultivation regime preserves the purity, as the stalk accumulates its volatile substances on its own, without external stimulation in the open fields of the country. The purity of the scent follows precisely from this selection between volatile and non-volatile. The scent starts fresh, takes on a light sweetness and finishes with a floral-fruity tone. Its intensity ranges between medium and strong. The shade of the oil leans towards a pale yellowish hue. The shade is due to the green aboveground material, which transfers few pigments into the distillate. The aboveground material comes from plantations in Bulgaria, where the crop completes its entire cycle under the open sky and in the natural rhythm of the seasons. The country lies within the range that the Lamiaceae family occupies across the temperate and dry habitats of Europe and its adjacent regions. Storage
