Description
Our organic sweet wormwood essential oil for pharmaceuticals is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Artemisia annua. The product is known as Sweet wormwood organic essential oil for pharmaceuticals. The oil shows a liquid consistency and an amber yellow-brownish colour. The colour comes from the leaves, which remain the only plant part entering the distillation. The leaves also provide a strong aroma, in which spicy sharpness combines with herbal density and a sweet-woody finish. The aroma retains its purity thanks to steam distillation, during which the volatile substances of the raw material pass into the product without any change to their natural structure. The pure aroma brings an advantage, which is complemented by the Bulgarian origin of the plant raw material used. The origin from Bulgaria is combined with organic cultivation, which determines the purity of the composition and keeps the oil free from preservatives and colourants. The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family, and its volatile fraction contains mainly monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes, among which camphene and borneol stand out. The monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes form the entirely organic composition of the finished product. The organic composition goes hand in hand with the density of the scent, which retains its spicy character to the very end. The scent retains its herbal depth, while the sweet-woody side shapes the finish of the entire profile. The profile of the oil remains strong and uniform throughout the liquid. The liquid retains its amber tone and its liquid density when examined in daylight.
