Description

Our organic rosemary CO2 select extract for detergents comes from the leaf mass of the plant Rosmarinus officinalis, grown outdoors in Bulgarian conditions. The Lamiaceae family ranks the shrub among the labiate species of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. The part used is limited to the needles on the young stems of the shrub. The small flowers open at the beginning of summer in the leaf axils and attract numerous bees and butterflies in the field plantings. The extraction relies solely on supercritical carbon dioxide, which returns to gas when the pressure drops and leaves the liquid concentrate without a carrier. Residual solvents are absent owing to this gaseous principle of separation between the phases. Organic farming excludes synthetic fertilisers and chemical protection of the crop in the field. The liquid form remains fluid at normal room temperature in the warehouse. The colour lies in the dark greenish to brownish range without foreign tones. The green share of the colour follows the chlorophyll in the needles, while the brownish side comes from the resinous diterpene residue in the glandular hairs on the lower surface. The spicy herbal profile directs the odour of the liquid select product. The odour strength lies in the intense and strong range, since the select fraction retains the light terpenes. The organic leaf concentrate makes up the entire composition, because preservatives and colourants are excluded from the liquid product during gas extraction under high pressure. Storage

The storage temperature must be from +5°C to +20°C, as a higher temperature leads to oxidation. After opening, reduce the air in the packaging, and when less content remains, transfer the remainder into a clean and dry bottle of smaller volume. The extract for detergents is stored in an aluminium bottle or in a dark glass bottle. Tight closing after use protects the contents from air and moisture. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
