Description

Our natural rosemary CO2 select extract for detergents is extracted from the leaves of the plant Rosmarinus officinalis under Bulgarian conditions. Supercritical carbon dioxide serves as the sole extraction medium and returns to gaseous form immediately after the pressure drops at the end of the cycle. Residual solvents are absent from the product, as the gas leaves the leaf concentrate completely. The parts used comprise the leaves, where the glandular hairs secrete the volatile substances in the greatest quantity. The Lamiaceae family places the shrub among the labiates with square stems and opposite leaves. The natural habitat of the species is a dry shrub formation in areas with a Mediterranean climate, where sunshine remains high throughout the year. The colour occupies the dark greenish to brownish range of the liquid mass without foreign hues. The greenish base comes from the chlorophyll in the needle-like tissue, while the brownish side is due to the resins and waxes from the glandular tissue on the underside. The natural regime leaves the crop free of synthetic agents and mineral fertilisers. The odour intensity reaches the intense and strong level, because the select fraction collects the light volatile part. The spicy herbal profile directs the entire odour of the concentrate. The liquid state is preserved under normal storage conditions in a closed container. The composition is limited to the leaf concentrate, because colourants and preservatives take no part in the extraction, which is carried out solely with a gas medium under high pressure. In addition, water remains outside the liquid fraction. The field areas on the plain provide a needle-like mass with a uniform appearance. The dark brownish tint is recognisable in the liquid concentrate during storage.

Storage

Store natural rosemary CO2 select extract in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C and you will prevent oxidation and loss of properties. Limit the exposure of the opened packaging to air and transfer the remaining quantity into a smaller clean and dry container. Aluminium containers and dark glass are suitable for detergents, as they block light. Do not leave the container open, as air and moisture impair the parameters. When the conditions are observed, the aroma and quality are preserved for longer.
