Description

Our natural nettle root CO2 select extract for detergents is obtained from the underground parts of the species Urtica dioica, grown on Bulgarian fields. The herbaceous perennial plant raises its stem up to two metres in height under good conditions. The aerial part remains excluded from the processing of the collected raw material. Natural agricultural practice keeps the fields free of synthetic fertilisers and free of chemical protective agents. The part used covers the rhizome and the underground branches of the herb. The working agent in the chamber is supercritical carbon dioxide, and the falling pressure at the outlet returns the entire agent to the gaseous state without a trace. Therefore, residual solvents and traces of water are absent from the finished root extract. A dark greenish or brownish colouring describes the external appearance of the liquid. The greenish share of the colouring comes from the chlorophyll on the outer layer of the rhizome, while the brownish tone stems from the sterols and resins in the deep tissue. The odour intensity lies in the medium to intense range, since the select extraction transfers the volatile constituents and leaves behind the waxy impurities of the bark. The earthy and herbal range with slightly grassy notes shapes the olfactory profile. The clean scent pattern is due to the working medium free of foreign solvents and water impurities. Light is blocked by dark glass and by aluminium, which is why they are preferred for detergents. Close the cap fully immediately after each use.
