Description
Our organic nettle essential oil for drinks originates from the plant with the botanical name Urtica dioica. On the international trade market, the product bears the name Nettle organic essential oil for drinks. The oil appears as a liquid with an even pale yellow tone throughout its volume. The tone comes from the leaves, in which most of the pigments accumulate, and it is precisely this tissue that determines the colour of the finished liquid. The liquid retains a uniform appearance, and its aroma remains delicate in strength. The aromatic profile combines freshness with an earthy hue and a herbal note in the overall scent of the product. The purity of this olfactory profile is due to steam distillation, which transfers exclusively the volatile fraction of the leaf raw material into the final liquid. The volatile fraction forms the entire composition without preservatives and without colourants. The composition owes its purity to organic cultivation in the Bulgarian plantations, which is why only substances of entirely plant origin end up in the finished product. The plant origin leads to a species of the Urticaceae family, whose perennial herbaceous representatives occur in temperate Europe and in the neighbouring areas of Asia. Our plantations are located in Bulgaria. Only the leaves are harvested from the plantations, and they form the starting raw material for the extraction. In addition, the species releases a low amount of volatile substances, which explains the delicate olfactory strength of the finished organic nettle product. The oil remains single-component and retains the plant character of the original leaf raw material.

Storage

Store organic nettle essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the content decreases, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for drink products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for drinks from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for a longer period.
