Description
We offer natural walnut leaf hydrolate for cosmetics, obtained from the plant Juglans regia. The product bears the name Walnut Leaf Natural Hydrolat. The raw material comes from the leaf mass, which gathers the volatile substances of this plant species. The leaves grow large and odd-pinnate, with several lateral leaflets and one terminal leaflet, which clearly defines the appearance of the entire plant part. Extraction takes place with steam, so the scent of the finished liquid remains close to the original leaf mass. The color tone ranges from colorless to slightly greenish. The consistency remains liquid and homogeneous. The aroma is mild in strength, and its type reveals a slightly tart, woody and herbal direction. The Juglandaceae family encompasses the species in the botanical classification of plants. The plants grow in Bulgarian plantations in a natural way, so that no substances foreign to the raw material enter the composition of the distillate. In addition, the finished liquid is entirely free of preservatives and colorants. Pinene, germacrene, caryophyllene and limonene are among the leading volatile constituents of the leaves of this species and bring the woody note to the scent. The mild aroma is determined precisely by the steam extraction method. Natural cultivation and the choice of the leaf part shape the composition of the distillate, while the light greenish tone derives from the same leaf raw material. The tart side and the mild scent complement each other in the overall aromatic character of the finished product. In its final form, the walnut leaf distillate remains a clear natural liquid with a mild and tart-woody character.
