Description
We present natural St. John's wort essential oil for drinks, obtained from the species Hypericum perforatum. In international practice the liquid is designated as St. John's Wort natural essential oil for drinks. The oil is a free-flowing liquid with a homogeneous structure. The structure carries a pale yellow colour, which comes from the flowers involved in the extraction and is distributed evenly. The pale yellow tone is accompanied by a mild and warm aroma, whose herbal contours end with a light sweetness in its overall olfactory profile. The aroma is due entirely to natural ingredients, since the product contains no preservatives or colourants. The natural ingredients come from the cultivation method, in which the plantations develop in a natural environment, without synthetic detergents on the aboveground part. The natural environment of the species covers the temperate regions of Europe, reaches Northwest Africa and extends eastwards to China. The species belongs to the family Hypericaceae and grows as a perennial plant in the temperate biome. The temperate biome also covers Bulgaria, whose fields provide the raw material for the extraction. The Bulgarian flowers are picked at the height of flowering, when they carry the volatile fraction that later passes into the finished liquid. The extraction proceeds by steam distillation, which is why only the volatile substances of the flowers remain in the liquid and the scent keeps its natural purity. In addition, the Bulgarian origin of the raw material and the natural method of its cultivation support the pure scent. Storage

Store natural St. John's wort essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for products for drinks, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for drinks from light.
