The product is offered in international practice under the name Spearmint natural essential oil for drinks. The origin of the product is linked to Bulgaria, and the raw material comes from a perennial herbaceous crop of the temperate zone. The crop ranks among the herbaceous representatives of the Lamiaceae family. The perennial representatives of the family accumulate volatile substances in the green aboveground stalks, and steam distillation transfers precisely these substances into the finished product. Distillation separates only these compounds, which is why the aroma of the oil remains completely pure and retains its faithfulness to the original plant raw material. The pure aroma accompanies an entirely natural composition, built solely from substances of plant origin. Preservatives and colourants remain outside this plant profile. Natural cultivation determines this composition, since all volatile substances arise entirely in the green tissues of the crop itself during its development. The composition remains liquid and fluid throughout its volume. The liquid form bears a shade ranging from colourless to pale yellow under the influence of the aboveground stalk used, and retains this light transparency. Storage
