Description
We present natural Mentha arvensis essential oil for detergents, obtained from a herb with the botanical name Mentha Arvensis. The oil bears the name Mentha Arvensis natural essential oil for detergents, and its pronounced fragrance comes entirely from the natural composition of the herb. The composition of this product is limited to substances of plant origin, while preservatives and colourants do not enter the basis of the liquid. The pure basis results from the natural cultivation of the plant in Bulgaria. The basis keeps the product in a liquid state and gives it a colour from colourless to yellowish-green. The colour rests on the green stalk, as the aerial parts bring a slight plant hue to the oil. The hue goes hand in hand with a strong scent that combines a refreshing and a herbal side. The menthol side of the scent is considered distinctive of the species and defines its olfactory character. The olfactory character comes from the stalk, which grows in Bulgaria under natural cultivation. The stalk belongs to a herb from the family Lamiaceae, whose species hold the aromatic substances in tiny glandular hairs on the aboveground surface of the plant. The hairs preserve the volatile substances until steam distillation, as the method transfers the fragrance into the liquid without loss. The fragrance reaches the final product in pure form, so the scent remains strong and recognisable. Botanical purity and the aboveground origin of the raw material shape the qualities of this product. In addition, natural cultivation keeps the oil close to the original herb. The herbal basis is retained in Mentha arvensis oil.
Application
Mentha arvensis essential oil finds application in the production of cleaning and disinfecting detergents, giving them natural freshness and a cooling effect. It is part of the composition of products for washing dishes and for maintaining kitchen appliances, refrigerators, microwave ovens and ovens, as well as of sprays and gels for surfaces, glass and floor coverings. It is present in products for disinfecting handles and frequently touched areas thanks to its antimicrobial effect, as well as in wet wipes, toilet blocks, creams and pastes. It is added to laundry products and fabric softeners, on which it leaves a light mint aroma, as well as to products for freshening the air in rooms, offices and poorly ventilated spaces. It is used in electric diffusers for hygienic purposes, in vacuum cleaner inserts and in scented candles with a cleaning function. It also finds application in removing unpleasant odours from textiles and upholstered furniture, freshening wardrobes and drawers, cleaning furniture, wooden surfaces, cars, sports shoes, children's toys and washing machines, as well as in household insect repellent sprays and in hand products, giving every composition a clean mint fragrance and a pleasant coolness.
