Description

Our organic tansy essential oil for supplements is extracted from the plant with the botanical name Tanacetum Vulgare. The product bears the name Tansy organic essential oil for supplements. The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family and grows in the temperate regions of Europe, where it occupies open, dry sites. At its sites in Bulgaria, the species reaches full bloom, when its inflorescences naturally accumulate a dense volatile fraction and provide the raw material for the oil. The inflorescences undergo steam distillation and transfer their volatile portion to the oil, which receives it in its entirety. Steam distillation leaves only the volatile portion in the finished liquid, so the product's fragrance remains pure and true to its floral raw material. The pure fragrance rests on a composition that encompasses only the plant's organic volatile fraction. The composition does not include added preservatives. Preservatives and artificial colourants remain outside the mixture because of the organic cultivation of the stands at the Bulgarian sites. The mixture takes the form of a liquid whose blue-green tone is rich and uniform. The tone comes from the flowers, whose azulene precursors give the entire liquid its blue colouring at the very moment it is extracted from the inflorescences. The flowers also determine the scent, strong and fresh, with a minty base and a light sweetness. The minty base is among the advantages of tansy oil. The advantages include the single plant source, along with the entirely organic composition and the uniform liquid consistency. The rich blue-green tone accompanies the liquid's strong scent.

Storage

Store organic tansy essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder to a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for dietary supplements, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for supplements from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the product's quality and safety for a longer period.
