Description
We present organic lovage leaf essential oil for supplements, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Levisticum officinale. The product is designated as Lovage leaf organic essential oil for supplements in international practice. The composition of the oil remains fully organic and accepts no added preservatives or colourants. The organic composition follows the organic cultivation of the plants, since no foreign substances enter the raw material beyond the volatile fraction of the harvested leaves. The leaves impart a yellow-green colour to the liquid, because they carry green pigments in their tissues. The colour is combined with a liquid and mobile consistency of the product itself. The product gives off a strong and intense scent. The scent follows a fresh and green line with a clear herbal finish. The finish remains recognisable throughout the whole volume of the liquid. The herbal line comes from the plant source, which botanists assign to the botanical family Apiaceae with its numerous aromatic species. The family unites aromatic crops, and researchers find precisely in the leaf mass of this crop ligustilide, which belongs to the large group of phthalides. Storage
