Description
We offer organic ginger essential oil for cosmetics, obtained from the species Zingiber officinale. In international practice the liquid is offered under the name Ginger organic essential oil for cosmetics. The liquid shows a dark yellow to golden tone inherited from the roots used. Its consistency remains liquid, while the scent stays warm and mild in strength. Spicy and citrus notes build the type of the fragrance, and monoterpene aldehydes and sesquiterpenes are responsible for their appearance in the volatile fraction of the oil. The composition covers exclusively the fully organic essential oil of the plant. Preservatives and colourants are not included in it, which maintains the purity of the natural profile. The purity of this composition results from the organic cultivation method, which limits external interventions on the crop and leaves in the raw material only its own substances. The plant raw material belongs to the family Zingiberaceae, which includes tropical perennial species with aromatic underground parts. The roots provide the raw material for extraction, since the aromatic fraction of the species is concentrated in them. The plantations grow in Bulgaria, and that is precisely where the raw material comes from. Steam distillation retains only the volatile constituents, so the olfactory result remains pure and close to the fresh root mass. In addition, in the finished liquid zingiberene takes a leading place among the sesquiterpenes, which build the warm base of the fragrance and give the product its characteristic depth. The oil remains fully organic and homogeneous throughout its entire volume.

Application
Ginger essential oil finds application in cosmetics, where it is valued for its warming action and its ability to stimulate blood circulation in the skin. It is incorporated into products for toning tired and lifeless skin, for reviving a pale complexion and for nourishing the skin during the cold months. Because of its firming and revitalising effect, the oil is used in anti-ageing formulas, for smoothing fine lines, for improving elasticity and for the care of mature skin. It finds a place in warming massage oils and body creams aimed at relieving muscle tension and recovery after physical exertion, as well as in anti-cellulite gels and products for stimulating lymphatic drainage and detoxification. The oil enriches creams, serums and night masks with antioxidant and stimulating action, protecting the skin from free radicals. It is suitable for thermoactive moisturising products, exfoliants, lip balms with a warming effect and hand and foot creams with an active herbal composition. It is also applied in hair care products that stimulate growth and strengthen the hair follicles, as well as in toning shower gels and shampoos. It is valued in organic formulas and organic formulations, in aromatherapy lotions and spa treatments, and it combines well with cinnamon and orange oils for energising sensory care.

Storage

Store organic ginger essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C in order to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and when the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
