Description
We present natural German chamomile essential oil for pharmaceuticals, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Matricaria chamomilla. In international practice the oil bears the name Chamomile German natural essential oil for pharmaceuticals. Natural cultivation brings the first advantage of this product on offer. The natural cultivation method also determines the composition, which remains entirely natural and retains the volatile substances of the plant itself in unchanged form. Preservatives and colourants are completely absent from its structure. The volatile fraction brings together the sesquiterpenes, which make up the main share in plants of this botanical genus. The aroma retains a gentle strength, while sweetness and warmth shape its character. The purity of its character is due to steam distillation, which leaves the scent clear and unchanged throughout the entire volume of the final liquid obtained. The finished liquid has a tone between colourless and a pale yellow hue. The pale yellow hue comes from the flowers, since it is they that give the liquid consistency its light shade in the finished product. The liquid consistency remains uniform and light throughout its entire mass. The uniform liquid comes from a plant of the family Asteraceae, whose flower heads gather the volatile substances sought in the production of such an essential oil. The plant thrives in Bulgaria, where the entire harvest for its extraction comes from. The flowers from the Bulgarian harvest are used for the extraction, while steam distillation remains the established method for obtaining oil from such a plant source. It is applied to support sleep and improve its quality, in difficulty falling asleep and for better sleep in elderly people, for controlling headaches with a mild sedative effect and for relaxing tense muscles. Chamomile is used in pharmaceutical products for care of skin irritations, rashes, itching, inflammation and allergic skin reactions, for sun-induced redness and superficial skin lesions, for soothing an inflamed throat, oral cavity and gums and for inhalations in respiratory irritation. Storage

Store natural German chamomile essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for pharmaceutical products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for pharmaceuticals from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for a longer period.
