Description

We present organic geranium essential oil for detergents, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Geranium macrorrhizum. The oil is known as Geranium organic essential oil for detergents. Its composition comprises exclusively organic plant substances and remains free of added preservatives and colourants. The purity of the composition stems from the cultivation, since the plantations grow without synthetic protective agents and without artificial fertilisers over the entire area of the site. The purity is also evident in the scent, which combines a sweet and herbaceous character with a woody nuance at fresh strength. The fragrance reaches the final liquid by way of steam distillation, which separates the volatile molecules from the leaf mass and leaves the olfactory profile unchanged. The final product remains liquid and takes on a yellowish-green colour. The yellowish-green colour is due to the leaves, which pass part of their greenness on to the oil. The leaves grow on a perennial herbaceous plant of the family Geraniaceae with thick rhizomes. The family occupies the temperate regions, more precisely Central and Southeastern Europe together with the western fringes of Asia Minor and its high slopes. Bulgaria falls within this zone, and its mountain regions provide the raw material. The Bulgarian sites supply leaf mass from organically cultivated plantations. Storage

Store organic geranium essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C in order to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for detergents, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for detergents from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
