Description
We offer organic clary sage essential oil for cosmetics, obtained from the species Salvia sclarea. The product bears the name Clary Sage organic essential oil for cosmetics. The name refers to a liquid whose appearance ranges between a colourless and a pale yellowish shade. The shade is accompanied by an olfactory intensity that reaches a medium to strong degree. The character of the scent combines freshness with a slightly sweet shade and ends with a floral-fruity note, recognisable throughout the whole volume of the product. The note originates from a biennial herbaceous plant of the Lamiaceae family with coarsely hairy stalks, which grows in Bulgaria under an organic cultivation regime. Bulgaria provides the entire harvest, and the aboveground stalks of the crop serve for the extraction. The stalks arrive in a flowering state. The flowering raw material passes through steam distillation, since this method carries over the volatile ingredients of the plant with a pronounced purity of the final scent. The purity of the scent reinforces the advantages that derive from the Bulgarian origin and from the organic cultivation regime. Along with the purity, the advantages also include the pale appearance of the liquid, which comes from the aboveground part of the plant as the only raw material used. The raw material used builds the entirely organic composition of the oil. The composition is formed only from the plant material, because organic cultivation keeps the plantations away from synthetic treatment agents throughout the whole vegetation period. Preservatives are not included in it. Colourants also remain outside the list of ingredients, so the liquid retains its natural appearance. It is suitable for toners that refresh and restore the balance of the skin, for products with a deep cleansing action, for care around the eye area and for tightening the pores. It is incorporated into day and night creams with a phytoestrogenic action, into products for recovery after sun exposure and into detergents that maintain the hydration of dry skin and help even out the complexion in case of pigmentation spots. The oil regulates sebum secretion and is applied in body lotions with a relaxing and refreshing effect, as well as in products with an aromatherapeutic orientation for emotional relaxation. In hair and scalp care it is used in shampoos and conditioners for normalising oiliness, in products against hair loss, in regenerating products and in detergents that stimulate the growth of healthy hair. It also finds a place in deodorants with a herbal and antiseptic action, as well as for scenting products with a soft floral and slightly sweet aroma.

Storage

Store organic clary sage essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C in order to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and when the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
