Description
Our organic mountain chamomile essential oil for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Matricaria chamomilla. In international practice, the product is referred to as Chamomile Wild organic essential oil for aromatherapy. The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family, whose members accumulate their volatile substances in the glandular hairs located on the flower heads. The flower heads come from plantations in Bulgaria that are maintained organically. The plantations yield flowers, which are the only part of the raw material used. The aromatic profile is rich, fresh and slightly spicy, with a warm base. Alongside this scent, the product has a liquid consistency that appears uniform throughout its entire volume. The colour of the liquid ranges from pale blue to greyish green, because the flower heads contain matricine, which turns into blue chamazulene during extraction. Chamazulene fits into the entirely organic composition of the product, in which preservatives and colourants are absent and the plant base retains its natural appearance. Its purity stems from the organic cultivation method, which excludes synthetic auxiliary substances across the entire area of the plantations. The volatile sesquiterpenes pass into the liquid during steam distillation, which is why the olfactory profile retains the purity and the integral character of the original plant raw material. The consistency allows the shade to be distributed evenly. The fresh note remains dominant in the olfactory profile, while the warm nuance gives completeness to the overall scent of the product. The rich intensity of the scent is the leading sensory property of the liquid.

Storage

After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging and, as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for aromatherapy from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
