Description

Our organic Scots pine hydrolate for aromatherapy is obtained from the needles of the tree with the botanical name Pinus sylvestris. In international practice, the product is designated as White Pine organic hydrolate for aromatherapy. The tree belongs to the Pinaceae family, whose members develop resin ducts in the mesophyll of the needle along its entire length, where the volatile constituents accumulate. The needles are the only plant part used in the extraction. The raw material comes from Bulgaria, where the plantations grow under organic management, free from synthetic agents and mineral fertilization. Organic cultivation determines the purity of the composition, as the tree develops without synthetic interference with its growth and with the soil beneath it. The composition is entirely organic, with no added preservatives or colorants. The absence of additives makes the scent dependent solely on the raw material and on the way it is cultivated. The aromatic profile combines freshness with a herbal line and maintains medium strength. Extraction by steam distillation leaves only the soluble volatile constituents in the aqueous phase, which is why the profile remains clean and free of heavy nuances. Mainly oxygenated monoterpenoids such as borneol and terpineol pass into the aqueous phase, while the hydrocarbon constituents are poorly retained due to their low solubility. The color ranges from colorless to pale yellow, because the needles release few coloring substances as the steam passes through the raw material. The liquid looks clear and uniform throughout its entire volume. In addition, the organic origin covers the entire plantation from which the needles are collected. The needle raw material determines the fresh herbal line that leads in the scent of the distillate.

It is often found in massage sprays and toners for relaxing the body, in soothing formulas for evening rest and in products that support sleep, such as pillow sprays. It is used in sauna compositions, in bath drops and in blends for home spa treatments, as well as in the practice of balneo and spa centers, massage studios and yoga halls. Pine water refreshes the skin of the face, hands and feet in the form of a delicate mist and is included in calming lotions, as well as in sprays for fabrics, wardrobes and cars. It is suitable for blends used in cases of mental tension, stress and fatigue, for maintaining freshness in gyms and workspaces, and for creating coziness and a positive atmosphere at home.

Storage

Store organic Scots pine hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably dark glass, which protect the aromatherapy hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
