Description
Our natural Scots pine concrete for cosmetics is extracted from the needles of the plant Pinus Sylvestris. In international practice, the product is designated as Scots pine natural concrete. The plant is a tall coniferous tree of the Pinaceae family and bears a clearly visible reddish bark in the upper part of its straight trunk. Its needles grow in bundles of two and retain the resinous compounds that later determine the olfactory character of the entire collected forest raw material. The species reaches farther north than any of its related species and covers a vast territory in Europe and in the northern parts of Asia. Bulgarian forests provide the needles that serve as raw material for this concrete. During extraction, the compounds pass into the finished body, and thus the woody note retains its fresh side without any changes. The aroma is woody and fresh, and the pine character goes together with slightly resinous notes. The strength of the aroma remains between medium and strong. The medium to strong strength is combined with a waxy body whose density ranges between solid and semi-solid. The body acquires a light yellow to golden brown tone, because the green needles contribute their own resin already during the very extraction of the entire waxy mass. The tone and aroma give an idea of the olfactory profile that describes this raw material most accurately. The confirmed species identity of the source material is added to this. The species identity goes together with a content that is free of preserving and colouring substances. The content remains entirely plant-based, as the plantations are managed naturally.

Application
Scots pine concrete, Pinus Sylvestris, is widely applied in the development of high-quality skin and body care products. Thanks to its waxy consistency, it is easily incorporated into face and body creams, giving the final formulas a rich, non-sticky texture and a lasting woody aroma with notes of resin and freshness. In face serums, it enriches the formula with biologically active substances characteristic of coniferous extracts and contributes to maintaining skin tone. Storage

Store natural Scots pine concrete in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit air access, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder to a smaller, clean and dry container. Use only aluminium or glass containers, preferably dark glass, which protects the product from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
