Description

Our organic white fir essential oil for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Abies alba. In international practice, the product is designated as White Fir organic essential oil for aromatherapy. The designation links the product to a tree that grows high in the mountains. The tree belongs to the Pinaceae family, whose members occupy the cool and humid mountain belts of Europe and reach considerable heights in mature stands. The mountain belts of Bulgaria provide the plant raw material. The raw material grows under an organic cultivation method that excludes synthetic detergents and determines the purity of the composition in the finished product. The needles, which accumulate mainly monoterpene compounds, are used for extraction. The compounds in the needles give the oil an intense and rich scent. The scent reveals a fresh and resinous character with a clearly discernible pine note. The freshness of the profile comes from steam distillation, as the method transfers the volatile ingredients of the needles unchanged and keeps the olfactory character pure. Distillation produces a liquid consistency, while the colour of the oil tends towards a yellowish-brown shade. The shade comes from the needles, whose resinous substances pass into the liquid during extraction. The substances in the liquid form an entirely organic composition without preservatives. In addition, it contains no colourants, so the appearance of the liquid depends solely on the raw material. Organic cultivation and the mountain origin of the raw material maintain the product's rich olfactory character and its pure coniferous profile, which remains close to the original plant material. The coniferous scent retains its intensity in the liquid composition of the oil.

Application

Storage

Store organic white fir essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging and, as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder to a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably dark glass, which protect the essential oil for aromatherapy from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
