We offer natural white fir hydrolate for drinks, obtained from the plant Abies Alba, whose needles provide the entire aromatic content of the liquid. The hydrolate bears the name White Fir Natural Hydrolat. The Pinaceae family unites the species with the other coniferous trees, in which the resin tissue remains well developed. On the underside of the needles, two wax stripes made up of rows of stomata are visible, and this part remains the only raw material used for the distillate. The coloring varies from pale yellow and yellow-green to pale blue. The light tone comes from the aqueous medium, while the needles contribute the greenish hue. The product is obtained by steam distillation, which carries only the light volatile constituents into the water. The medium strength of the scent is due precisely to this method of extraction. The sweet side, the herbal character and the spicy notes come together in a unified and recognizable olfactory picture. Limonene, pinene, camphene and bornyl acetate are among the leading constituents of the needle oil, which is why the spicy line remains clearly perceptible in the profile. The plant material comes from Bulgarian plantations maintained without chemical intervention.
