Description
We offer organic thyme hydrolate for detergents, which originates from the species Thymus vulgaris. It is offered to foreign partners under the name Thyme organic hydrolate for detergents. The distillate originates in the aerial parts, in which the leaves and flowers provide the main part of the aromatic matter for the entire extraction. The volatile substances are formed in the secretory cells of glandular hairs and remain in a subcuticular space, which is why the entire aerial mass goes into the extraction. The steam distillation method determines how the herbal fragrance of the raw material passes into the finished distillate. The color stays within the range from yellowish to dark brown, as it derives from the aerial mass of the species. The product takes the form of a clear liquid. The strong fragrance is immediately noticeable in the liquid. The herbal note also carries a woody hue. In terms of botanical affiliation, the plant belongs to the Lamiaceae. The Bulgarian origin of the raw material goes hand in hand with the organic cultivation of the crops, in which artificial fertilizing and treatment agents are kept off the fields. The hydrolate consists entirely of organic raw material, while preservatives and colorants are kept out of it, as the cultivation excludes artificial intervention in the field. In the thymol chemotype, the leading positions belong to carvacrol, cymene, thymol and terpinene, and it is precisely they that keep the herbal sharpness at the forefront of the distillate's fragrance. In addition, the strength of the fragrance is due to the dense covering of hairs on the leaf blade. While the stem part is discarded, the leaves and flowers determine both the color and the aroma. The dense herbal fragrance of thyme hydrolate is based on the organically grown aerial parts and remains so to the end.
Application
Thyme hydrolate, obtained by steam distillation of organically grown aerial parts, is a valuable ingredient in the production of cleaning detergents with a warm, spicy herbal aroma. It is used in the preparation of dishwashing liquids with an antibacterial feel, in all-purpose surface sprays with a refreshing effect, as well as in floor cleaning formulas with a pleasant herbal note. It is also used in household disinfectants with an invigorating aroma, in laundry additives for softening fabrics, as well as in bathroom sprays with an antibacterial profile. It also finds application in air fresheners with a clean herbal character, in wipes for kitchen surfaces, as well as in anti-mold solutions with a rich aromatic profile. It is also used in liquid hand soaps, in fabric softeners with an herbal note, as well as in surface care concentrates with a long-lasting fresh aroma.
