Our natural thyme hydrolate for pharmaceuticals comes from a plant with the botanical name Thymus vulgaris. Outside the country, this product bears the name Thyme natural hydrolate for pharmaceuticals among buyers. The species belongs to the Lamiaceae family, and the plantations are maintained on Bulgarian land, where only the aerial part of the plant itself is harvested. The plants follow an entirely natural cultivation regime. Since the plants develop without foreign chemical intervention, neither preservatives nor colorants get into the liquid. The extraction relies on steam and on the harvested aerial mass. The steam method keeps the aroma close to the raw material, which is why the herbal line comes out pure, while the woody note remains in the background of the profile. The strength of the scent is at the upper end. The volatile substances originate in the secretory cells of the glandular trichomes and pass from there into the subcuticular space, which is why the leaf part carries the main aromatic share. Storage

Store natural thyme hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for pharmaceutical products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for pharmaceuticals from light.
