Description
Our natural unrefined milk thistle carrier oil for aromatherapy is obtained from the seeds of the plant with the botanical name Silybum marianum. The product is known as Thistle Natural Unrefined Carrier Oil. Cultivation of the fields in Bulgaria takes place in a natural way, without synthetic fertilizers and detergents. It is this way of working with the fields that predetermines the pure composition that reaches the final product without preservatives and without added colourants. The ingredients remain completely natural in the final form. The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family, whose species are among the most numerous among flowering plants and second only to orchids. Only the seeds are used for extraction. Their pale seed coat explains the transition of the liquid, which goes from colourless to a light yellow tone throughout the entire volume of the product. The tone depends directly on the part used, so it remains pale and maintains a subdued range of pale colours. The consistency remains liquid and fluid throughout the entire volume of the product. The fragrance has a light grassy character and delicate notes, with an overall intensity perceived as soft and airy. The gentle intensity is due to cold pressing, where the raw material releases the oil under pressure and without any external heating. The mechanical way of separation leaves the initial character of the seeds in the oil. The purity of the olfactory profile comes from this mechanical route, along with unrefined processing of the raw material. The unrefined form retains the seed ingredients as they are given by the plant itself during ripening. The grassy line leads the olfactory picture, while the delicate nuances remain more subdued. The milk thistle liquid remains soft and slightly grassy throughout its volume. The finished appearance combines a light tone, a liquid texture and a soft grassy fragrance.

Application
The natural unrefined milk thistle carrier oil works in aromatherapy as a carrier base for massage blends with essential oils. The essential oils disperse evenly in the base, as its liquid consistency allows easy blending. Easy blending also applies to aromatic bath products. Bath products with this oil carry the scent of the added essences. The added essences retain their profile, because the light grassy scent of the base with delicate notes stays in the background. Alongside bath products, the raw material is used in roll-on aromatic formulas. Roll-on formulas use the product as a liquid carrier, so the essences are distributed throughout the entire volume. Plant-based massage candles also include the raw material together with waxes, while the colourless to light yellow tint preserves the light appearance of the candle. The candle melts when lit and forms a warm liquid for massage. Milk thistle candles and massage formulations often contain lavender, orange or bergamot, which combine well with the mild carrier of the volatile essences.

Storage

Store natural unrefined milk thistle carrier oil in a dark, cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the package, and when the contents are reduced, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles, preferably dark glass that protects the oil from light. Seal tightly after each use to keep out air and moisture. Compliance with these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.

Attention !!!

Please use natural unrefined milk thistle carrier oil in accordance with the safety recommendations and instructions for use. Avoid contact with the eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs. An allergy or tolerance test is recommended before using milk thistle carrier oil. Carrier oils can cause individual reactions, so it is important to follow all safety instructions.
