Description
We offer natural tansy hydrolate for cosmetics, obtained from the inflorescences of the plant Tanacetum Vulgare. The distillate bears the name Tansy Natural Hydrolat. The raw material comes from the dense corymbs of flower heads, which bear only yellow tubular florets, and this is where the aromatic fullness of the distillate originates. The plantations are tended in a natural way. Owing to this care, the liquid takes on only the substances of the plant and remains free of any preservatives and colorants, and its original simplicity is evident. Steam distillation defines the purity of the profile, which is why the bitter and sharp side of the scent remains clear throughout the finished liquid. The aroma is strong, and the bitter, sharp and rich sides intertwine in it. Botanically, the species belongs to the Asteraceae family, and the inflorescences grow on Bulgarian land. The flower heads harvested at the full flowering stage are used for distillation, so the scent of the finished liquid remains dense, compact and complete. The color of the liquid varies from colorless to slightly greenish. Since the extract comes from the flowering part, the light greenish tint follows the natural appearance of the original plant raw material and its internal composition. The product remains a clear and even liquid. The volatile fraction forms in biseriate glandular trichomes, and the secretion accumulates in a subcuticular cavity, which explains the strength of the scent in the distillate. The characteristic constituents of the oil from the inflorescences include camphor, chrysanthenyl acetate and thujone. In addition, the distillate retains its floral basis. Natural tansy hydrolate stays close to its inflorescences and to the Bulgarian field.
Application
Natural tansy hydrolate, obtained by steam distillation, is a valuable ingredient in the development of a wide range of skin care products and cosmetics for everyday use. It is included in moisturizing face creams, cleansing toners, masks with a restorative and rejuvenating effect, as well as serums and micellar waters for gentle makeup removal. It is also used in the production of body lotions with a refreshing, regenerating or revitalizing effect, hand and foot creams with a softening and nourishing formula, and lip balms with a moisturizing effect. It is suitable for gels and foams for deep facial cleansing, scrubs with a smoothing effect, toners for balancing the complexion and products for the eye contour area. It is also used in hair care through strengthening masks and moisturizing shampoos, as well as in neck and décolleté creams, after-sun and aftershave lotions. The hydrolate contributes to the creation of night care products, detox masks, products for sensitive and dry skin, and also formulas with a silky, velvety or matte texture designed to maintain the elasticity and radiance of the skin.
