Description
Our natural spruce needle hydrolate for cosmetics is obtained from the needles of the plant Picea abies. The liquid is known as Spruce natural hydrolate for cosmetics. The needles are selected for processing, while the wood and bark remain excluded from it. The extraction is carried out with steam, and this method preserves the fresh side of the scent in the finished liquid in every processing run. The aroma has great strength and brings together a fresh, resinous and forest side. The resin ducts in the mesophyll of the needle run along its longitudinal axis and give the raw material its resinous side while still on the tree. The color shifts from colorless to a pale yellow hue. The pale yellow trace is due to the substances that the needles release into the aqueous medium during extraction. The product is a clear liquid with a uniform appearance throughout its volume. The trees are grown naturally, as chemical agents and artificial feeding are not part of the care of the stands throughout the year. The genus is part of the Pinaceae family, and the plantation areas lie in Bulgaria. Descriptions of the needles and twigs place bornyl acetate, limonene, pinene and borneol among the leading volatile constituents. The main compounds in the aqueous phase of this species are oxygenated monoterpenes such as borneol and terpineol, which support the fresh side of the profile. In addition, the liquid comprises water and the volatile substances of the needles, while colorants and preservatives are not added. The natural cultivation method determines the pure composition of the final product. The needles give this natural spruce needle hydrolate its fresh forest base.
