We present organic smoke tree hydrolate for aromatherapy, obtained from the leaves of the plant Cotinus coggygria. The liquid is known as Smoke Tree organic hydrolate for aromatherapy. The fields are managed organically, so no synthetic agents reach the leaf tissue during its entire period of development. The leaves are used for extraction, while the bark and twigs remain outside processing. Extraction by steam distillation sets the pure aromatic course, as the aqueous phase takes up only the volatile substances of the raw material, and they shape the entire scent. The aroma has great strength and brings a bitter and a sharp side together into one whole. The resin canals in the leaves and bark of this genus give the raw material a rich scent, which is also evident in the finished liquid of this species. The color moves within the range between colorless and slightly greenish. The greenish undertone comes from the pigments that the leaf mass releases during steam extraction. The product is a clear liquid whose appearance remains the same throughout its entire volume. The species is classified in the Anacardiaceae family, and the fields with plantations are maintained in Bulgaria under constant care throughout the entire growing season. The simple obovate leaves bear a grayish tint over their entire surface. The constituents of the leaf oil of this species include limonene, pinene, ocimene, terpinolene and myrcene. In addition, the liquid contains water and the volatile substances of the leaf tissue, while colorants and preservatives are not involved. Storage
