Description

Our organic sage hydrolate for drinks comes from the plant of the species Salvia sclarea. In international practice, the liquid is referred to as Clary Sage organic hydrolate for drinks. Extraction is carried out with steam, and it is precisely this extraction method that determines the pure aromatic profile of the finished liquid. The raw material comes from the flowering stalk, while the woody parts are not included in the processing. The scent remains at a medium level and has a bitter, an herbal and a spicy side. Linalyl acetate, linalool and caryophyllene are described among the main constituents of the flowering stalk in this species, and their presence accounts for the herbal depth of the scent. The shade ranges from colorless to slightly yellowish. The light tint is due to the pigments that the stalk releases during extraction. The product is a clear liquid with uniform transparency. The plants grow according to organic practice, as synthetic agents and artificial feeding are excluded from the fields during the growing season, and their care follows organic principles. The genus belongs to the Lamiaceae family, and the plant fields are maintained in Bulgaria. Organic cultivation is reflected in the composition of the liquid, so the aqueous phase carries only substances from the plant itself. The finished liquid contains water and the aromatic substances of the stalk, and no preservatives or colorants are added. Storage

Store organic sage hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for drink products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for drinks from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for a longer period.
