Our natural sage absolute for detergents originates from the species Salvia sclarea. The product is offered under the name Clary Sage natural absolute for detergents. It contains only substances from the harvested herb itself, while preservatives and colorants are completely absent at every individual stage of its production. The harvested herb releases its entire volatile fraction during the extraction, which does not change the proportions of its individual constituent and aromatic compounds in the absolute. The extraction also preserves the herbal purity of the aroma in the finished material. An aroma of such purity rests on sclareol, a diterpene with a well-described and repeatedly confirmed presence in this herbal botanical species. Sclareol accumulates in the glandular covering as the stalk progresses toward full flowering. Flowering opens the harvest in Bulgarian plains in the south and northeast. The growers there do not apply synthetic fertilizers and maintain a natural regime on the fields, which is why the harvested raw material remains completely pure until harvest. The natural regime determines the purity of the composition, since the plant builds only its own volatile aromatic compounds. The species belongs to the Lamiaceae family, which is recognized by the two-lipped corollas and the dense glandular covering of all its herbal genera. The herbal trace of the absolute remains perceptible for a long time, and the soft sweetness softens it toward the middle. The trace accompanies an intensity between medium and strong. The intensity is carried by an oily base with a dense structure and a light yellow to amber color. The color originates precisely from the harvested aerial mass and remains the same throughout the entire filled volume. The oily base does not separate and retains its dense structure.

Storage
