We present organic Rose Damascena hydrolate for supplements, obtained from the flowering species Rosa damascena. It is known under the name Rose Damascena organic hydrolate for supplements. The composition is limited to organic ingredients and allows no preservatives or colorants. The raw material comes from Bulgaria, where the plantations develop under fully organic care and receive no synthetic fertilizers or chemical agents against pests. The species is part of the Rosaceae family, in which the aromatic compounds accumulate in the flower tissue of the plant. The aromatic compounds arise in the conical cells of the epidermis, which cover the fresh petals used to extract this aqueous distillate. Steam distillation leaves a clean olfactory profile, as the aqueous phase takes up only the light soluble constituents of the flowers. The aroma is strong and long-lasting, while the refreshing side is evident from the very beginning. The coloration varies from colorless to light pink. The pale tone reveals the small amount of coloring substances.
