Description
Our natural Rose Damascena hydrolate for animals is obtained from the species Rosa damascena. In international practice, the distillate is referred to as Rose Damascena natural hydrolate for animals. The raw material consists of the flowers, and the volatile compounds arise in the conical cells of the fresh petals and build the scent of the finished distillate. The Rosaceae family unites species in which the flower part carries the main share of the aromatic substances. The aroma is strong, long-lasting and of a refreshing direction that can be perceived from the first to the last impression. The color varies from colorless to light pink. The pale tone reveals a small share of coloring substances in the liquid. The aqueous base is clear throughout its entire mass. Steam distillation determines the clean character of the scent, as only the light soluble constituents characteristic of the flower raw material used remain in the water. The plantations grow in Bulgaria and are maintained naturally, without chemical agents against plant pests and without mineral fertilizers. Natural care in the plantations retains the natural balance of the volatile constituents, to which the even floral character is owed. The composition contains no added preservatives or colorants. The large amount of phenylethyl alcohol in the aqueous phase supports the lasting side of the scent and prolongs its presence throughout the entire olfactory profile of the distillate. The absence of additives leaves the olfactory picture dependent solely on the flower material, which is why the character remains unchanged. The fresh note appears first, while the dense base follows it. The scent remains connected to the floral origin of the raw material until the very end.
Application
Rose Damascena flower hydrolate is a suitable ingredient for products intended for pet care. It is used in coat-freshening sprays and in paw-cleansing lotions with a softening effect. It is applied in soothing mists for sensitive skin and in moisturizing fluids for dry coats, as well as in nourishing formulas that maintain the natural appearance of the coat. It is suitable for lightly scented disinfecting sprays for cages and for refreshing additions to bedding and pet beds. It is included in solutions for cleaning combs and brushes, in serums for skin areas and in compresses for skin discomfort. It is also used in mists for spaces and transport carriers, in sprays for short or long coats and in cleansing foam, and its delicate character makes it suitable even for sensitive four-legged pets.
