Description
Our natural Rose Alba hydrolate for aromatherapy is obtained from the flowers of the plant with the botanical name Alba Mill. The hydrolate bears the name Rose Alba Natural Hydrolat. The species belongs to the Rosales family, and the plantations occupy cultivated areas across the fields of Southern Bulgaria. The natural order of cultivation keeps the plantations away from external substances, which is why the finished liquid contains only constituents of the flower, without preservatives and without colorants. Steam distillation stands behind the clear aromatic profile, as only the volatile substances of the flower raw material from the surrounding planted gardens pass into the distillate. The finished distillate remains colorless, with a slight pink tint at the edge. The strength of the scent comes to the fore in every sample. The fresh, soft and sweet sides form the aromatic range of the finished distillate. The product is a liquid throughout its entire volume. The aromatic substances of the flower come from the epidermis of the petals with conical cells, which explains the richness of the flower raw material and its strength. Phenylethyl alcohol occupies a leading place among the constituents of rose water distillates and shapes their main aromatic part. In the aqueous phase of the white oil-bearing rose, geraniol exceeds citronellol in quantity. Citronellol and nerol are also found in the volatile fraction of this species. In addition, the light tone and the floral origin go together, as the petals introduce only a faint pink nuance into the finished liquid. It is precisely the floral base that provides the main share of the aromatic substances of the raw material. The finished distillate combines a strong scent, a light pink color and a composition without additives foreign to the plant.
Application
Rose Alba hydrolate from the flowers, extracted by steam distillation, is a valuable ingredient in aromatherapy and relaxation practices. It is used in calming air sprays and pillow mists that promote restful sleep, as well as in massage oils and lotions with a relaxing effect. It is incorporated into home diffusers, bringing a delicate floral aroma into the living space, as well as into calming bath foams and relaxation compresses. The hydrolate is also present in facial creams and serums with a balancing effect, in skin toners and in hair masks that combine care with a fine rose nuance. It is suitable for sprays for fabrics, bedding and home textiles, imparting a feeling of calm and harmony in enclosed spaces. Thanks to its soft, fresh and slightly sweet aroma, the product fits naturally into rituals for the balance of mind and body throughout the day.
