The range comes from the faintly coloured petals, as only the flowers of the shrub serve as the plant raw material. The flowers impart a sweet rose type of fragrance with delicate strength. The fragrance retains its purity thanks to water-steam distillation, which transfers the volatile constituents of the flowers to the finished final liquid in unchanged form. The plant belongs to the Rosaceae family and holds an important place among oil-bearing crops.
