In international practice, the product bears the name Rose Alba natural essential oil for pharmaceuticals. The liquid retains a homogeneous consistency, and its colour varies from colourless to pale yellow. The shade comes from the light petals, which remain the only plant part involved in obtaining this aromatic fraction. The fraction carries a sweet rose fragrance of delicate strength. The purity of this fragrance is due to water-steam distillation, which transfers the volatile carriers to the final liquid without changing their character. The composition of the oil consists solely of volatile compounds of the petals, while preservatives and colourants are absent from it. Synthetic auxiliary substances are kept away from cultivation, which is why the composition retains its entirely natural character. Geraniol has the largest share among these compounds, followed by citronellol and nerol.
