The harvest for distillation comes from Bulgarian plantations that are maintained according to organic rules throughout the entire cultivation cycle. Extraction is carried out with steam, and it is precisely this method of production that determines the soft intensity of the scent. Only the flowers harvested from the organic plantations in the country are processed. The botanical classification of the plant leads to the Asteraceae family, which unites a large number of species related to it. The sweet line in the scent runs alongside the fruity-floral and herbal ones, and the whole combination remains within the limits of soft and balanced expressiveness. The hue of the distillate ranges from pale blue to gray-green. The flower raw material determines this range, as the muted tones of the flower heads are reflected in the appearance of the liquid throughout its entire volume. The ligulate florets in the cultivated forms are the result of a partial transformation of the tubular ones. The hydrolate brings a natural, delicate scent to the final products and contributes to a pleasant feeling on application. It is also used in face masks with a moisturizing effect, designed to maintain the fresh appearance of the skin.

Storage

Store organic Roman chamomile hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
