Description
Our organic oregano essential oil for animals is extracted from the plant with the botanical name Origanum vulgare. The product is known as Oregano organic essential oil for animals. The oil is a mobile liquid whose colour starts from pale yellowish and reaches greenish. The greenish share of the colour is due to the green aboveground stalk, whose plant pigments pass into the liquid during extraction together with the volatile substances. The liquid gives off a strong and sharp scent, overlaid with spicy warmth. The warmth ends in a sweet-herbal tone that rounds out the olfactory profile. The olfactory profile belongs to a herb of the family Lamiaceae. The family brings together perennial herbaceous species whose tiny glands on the leaves and on the flowering tops hold the main part of the plant's aromatic substances. The glands cover the aboveground stalk, harvested from areas in Bulgaria under an organic cultivation regime. The stalk undergoes steam distillation, and its gentle action transfers only the volatile substances into the oil, so the scent remains free of any foreign tone. The scent combines with a wide range of volatile molecules from the whole stalk. The wide range gives the oregano oil a distinct olfactory density and also emphasises its pronounced sharpness. The density comes from the raw material itself, as its glands contain a concentrated set of aromatic molecules. Storage
