Description

Our organic nettle hydrolate for detergents is obtained from a plant of the species Urtica dioica. The hydrolate bears the name Nettle organic hydrolate for detergents. Colorants are absent from the finished liquid. The plantations grow in Bulgaria, and their cultivation follows an organic regime without artificial auxiliary substances. Organic cultivation determines the composition, because preservatives and added colorants do not enter the finished liquid, which fully retains its plant origin. The raw material is limited to the leaves. A dense covering of stinging glandular hairs covers the stem and the leaf surface of the herbaceous plant and is visible upon simple inspection of the raw material. The extraction is based on steam distillation. Steam distillation determines the narrow range of dissolved substances, so the aromatic profile of the distillate remains pure and free of nuances from a foreign source. The Urticaceae family unites herbaceous species in which the green mass occupies most of the aboveground volume. The scent type is built on a fresh direction and an earthy base, while the herbal notes remain in the background, as is also evident in the liquid itself. The species yields a limited volatile fraction and stands outside the range of classic essential oil plants, which keeps the strength of the aroma at a mild level. When fresh leaf mass is processed, the aqueous phase takes up mainly alcohols, and hexenol gives it a grassy green nuance with a fresh character. The color lies between colorless and pale yellow. The light tone of the distillate is due to the leaf raw material, which releases few coloring compounds into the aqueous medium. The product is a liquid with an unchanged appearance. The restrained scent and the light color complement each other in the overall appearance of the liquid. In addition, the nettle gives the distillate a restrained green character, while the light color remains free of external intervention.

It is used in all-purpose products for maintaining hygiene at home and in workspaces, as well as in solutions for cleaning furniture and glass surfaces with a delicate profile. It is suitable for floor washing formulas and for concentrates intended for offices and public areas, where its balanced, unobtrusive aroma is appreciated. It is also incorporated into air fresheners and textile sprays used in laundry and in the care of household fabrics. The herbal character of the ingredient also makes it a suitable choice for eco-oriented cleaning lines that seek a mild, natural aroma instead of synthetic fragrances. Storage

Store organic nettle hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for detergent products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for detergents from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
