Description
Our organic nettle essential oil for animals is extracted from the plant with the botanical name Urtica dioica. On international markets, the product bears the name Nettle organic essential oil for animals. The composition of the product consists solely of entirely organic plant components. Preservatives and colourants have no place in it, and the entire content comes from a single plant raw material. The purity of the content results from the organic cultivation method in the plantations, which determines the substances in the plant tissues throughout the entire growing season. The plant belongs to the Urticaceae family, whose perennial herbaceous representatives occupy the temperate regions of Europe and a significant part of Asia. The plantations for the raw material extend across Bulgaria. From there come the leaves, which constitute the only plant part of the species used. The leaf part undergoes steam distillation, and the method gives the oil a pure aromatic profile and a preserved natural structure of the volatile fraction. In addition, the scarce natural reserve of volatile substances in the species explains the delicate olfactory strength of the product. Organic farming adds a new advantage, as the purity of the raw material is established already in the Bulgarian plantations themselves. The leaves gather the greatest pigment wealth among the tissues of the species, which is why the oil takes on a pale yellow tone and a liquid form. Application
In animal care, nettle essential oil is incorporated into products with a soothing, regenerating and anti-inflammatory action. It finds application in detergents for relieving pain in the joints and muscles, for arthritis, rheumatism and joint wear in older animals, as well as for relieving pain and inflammation after surgical interventions. The oil is included in skin and coat care products that improve the condition of the hair coat, stimulate the growth of new coat and relieve itching, rashes, dermatitis, eczema and allergic reactions. It is suitable for products against skin infections and external parasites such as fleas and ticks, for preventing skin and ear infections, as well as for healing wounds, scratches, bites and cuts. It is used in formulas for strengthening the overall tone of the body and resistance to infections, for supporting digestion and relieving gas and stomach discomfort, and for supporting the kidneys, liver and cardiovascular system. It also finds application in products for increasing energy and vitality, relieving respiratory problems, regulating hormonal balance and for better resilience of animals in conditions of stress and anxiety.

Storage

Store organic nettle essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for animal products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for animals from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
