In international trade, the liquid bears the name Linden Blossom organic hydrolate for drinks. The liquid appears clear and homogeneous, and its tone starts from colorless and reaches slightly yellowish. The aroma holds a mild strength within it. The spicy, floral and herbal sides come together in one common aromatic profile of the distillate. The raw material comes from the flowers of the tree and reaches processing whole. The tongue-shaped membranous bract is fused to the stalk and passes through distillation together with the flowers. Extraction relies on steam, and it is precisely from this that the purity of the aromatic profile comes. The family of the plant bears the name Malvaceae. The trees grow on Bulgarian soil, and their cultivation follows an organic path without artificial support. Since no artificial agents are involved in cultivation, the composition remains organic, and neither preservatives nor colorants reach the finished liquid. The volatile fraction of the flowers includes farnesol, terpineol, nerol, limonene and citronellol, so the soft scent carries an inner fullness that also remains in the finished distillate. The hydrolate is also used in preparing compotes, vitamin waters and cold herbal decoctions that bring freshness to summer combinations. It is also suitable for inclusion in recipes for homemade juices and fruit mixes, as well as for creating new combinations for nonalcoholic aperitifs in which the delicate aroma of the linden blossom complements the natural sweetness of the ingredients.

Storage

Store organic linden blossom hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for drink products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for drinks from light.
