Our organic juniper needle essential oil for cosmetics originates from the species Juniperus communis. The product bears the name Juniper needle organic essential oil for cosmetics in international practice. The oil has a liquid consistency and a pale yellow to yellowish-green colour, which comes from the needles of the plant and is distributed evenly throughout the entire volume. The needles also provide the volatile substances that build the scent. The liquid consistency carries a strong aroma in which freshness turns into a resinous tone, while the herbal nuances complement the olfactory characteristic. The olfactory characteristic retains its purity, as steam distillation extracts the volatile substances of the raw material in unchanged form and transfers them entirely into the liquid. The distillation yields an entirely organic composition made up only of substances of plant origin. The organic cultivation of the plantations lies at the basis of this purity, because it excludes synthetic detergents, and the finished product contains no preservatives or colourants. The purity of the composition comes entirely from the plant material. The plant material originates from Bulgaria, where the species occurs in mountainous regions with poor and rocky soils. It is used in body and leg lotions with a cooling and revitalising action, in hand creams and in after-sun skin recovery products. It finds a place in shampoos with a purifying effect on the scalp, in hair balsams and masks that regulate oiliness, and in anti-dandruff products. It is incorporated into soaps, deodorants, eaux de toilette and face and body sprays, to which it gives a fresh herbal aroma. It is combined with other plant oils in the making of body oils and aromatic blends for healthy skin.

Storage

Store organic juniper needle essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder to a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
