Our natural juniper needle essential oil for detergents is obtained from the species Juniperus communis. In international practice, the product is offered under the name Juniper needle natural essential oil for detergents. The composition of the product brings together entirely natural volatile compounds of the needles. The compounds remain the only part of the liquid, so it contains no preservatives and colourants. The liquid retains this composition because the plantations are maintained using a natural cultivation method on open and well-ventilated areas in the country. The plantations consist of evergreen coniferous shrubs assigned to the family Cupressaceae. The shrubs form whorls of three needle-like leaves each and grow slowly throughout their long life. The leaves remain the only plant part used, and the shrubs thrive in Bulgaria. Bulgaria lies within the natural range of the species, whose boundaries cover the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere together with diverse soil and climatic conditions. The needles from these plantations yield a clear liquid with a fluid consistency. The consistency is associated with a light yellow to yellow-greenish colour, coming from the pigments in the needles. The colour goes together with a strong aroma, whose fresh base turns into resinous and herbal tones. The tones remain true to the raw material, because steam distillation transfers the volatile scent carriers unchanged and preserves the entire olfactory profile of the needles. Alongside the scent, the purity of the raw material also ranks among the advantages of the oil. The advantages are complemented by monoterpene hydrocarbons, which the scientific literature reports as the predominant part of the volatile substances of this raw material. The hydrocarbons give the product a dense resinous direction.

It is added to laundry and textile hygiene products, as well as to fresheners for wall-to-wall carpets, rugs and fabrics. Its aroma helps neutralise unpleasant odours, including those from cigarette smoke and from animals. It is applied in compositions for wooden and metal surfaces, for furniture made of natural materials and for leather goods. It also finds a place in products for car interiors, for the sanitisation of office spaces and sports equipment, as well as for the maintenance of air conditioning systems. Storage

Store natural juniper needle essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for detergent products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for detergents from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
