The raw material is gathered from the aerial stalk together with the inflorescences, and the fullness of the herbal base stems precisely from this integrity of the plant. The aroma is at a medium level and encompasses an herbal, sweetish and resinous side in a common structure. Steam distillation shapes the purity of the profile, which is why the herbal character of the product remains intact, while the resinous side is clearly evident. Botanically, the species belongs to the Lamiaceae family, and the plantations of this crop occupy Bulgarian fields. The crop is grown organically. Owing to this approach, the composition is limited to the plant's own substances, without preservatives and without colorants, and the simplicity of the liquid remains visible. The tone of the liquid ranges from colorless to slightly yellowish. Since the liquid originates from the aerial mass of the plant, the light range of the tone goes hand in hand with the plant character of the original raw material. The product remains a clear and transparent liquid. The volatile fraction resides in peltate glandular trichomes on both faces of the leaves, which explains the strength of the herbal scent in the organic distillate. Among the main volatile substances of the plant are elemol, pinene, pinocamphone and germacrene. As a subshrub, the species inhabits mainly the temperate biome, while its scent is held in the aerial mass. In addition, the distillate retains its herbal core. Storage

Store organic hyssop hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for cosmetics from light.
