Description

Our organic hyssop essential oil for detergents is obtained from the species Hyssopus Officinalis. In international trade the product bears the name Hyssop organic essential oil for detergents. The plant belongs to a genus of perennial subshrubs in the family Lamiaceae, and our plantations are located in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian plantations follow organic cultivation rules, since a field without synthetic agents yields a raw material whose internal composition remains entirely organic. The organic composition gives the product purity. The purity also comes from the steam distillation, during which only the volatile part of the aboveground stalk passes into the liquid without the heavy resinous substances. The aboveground stalk also gives the oil its almost colourless to pale yellow appearance. The pale yellow appearance accompanies the light liquid consistency, which remains mobile and homogeneous when examined in daylight. The liquid consistency carries a sharp odour with a herbal base and a clear camphoraceous side. The camphoraceous side derives from the monoterpene ketones, which occupy the main share among the volatile compounds in the aboveground part of the herb. The volatile compounds make up the entire composition, and no preservatives enter the liquid. The preservatives are absent along with the colourants, which is why the composition of the finished product is limited solely to the pure natural essence of the herb itself. The natural essence of hyssop oil gathers within itself the sharpness, the warm herbal side and the clearly defined camphoraceous character of the plant. The sharpness remains the leading characteristic of the liquid mass. The liquid mass is built solely from the organically grown aboveground stalk.

Storage

Store organic hyssop essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C in order to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and when the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for products for detergents, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for detergents from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
