Our organic German chamomile hydrolate for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Matricaria chamomilla. The distillate bears the name German Chamomile organic hydrolate for aromatherapy. The Asteraceae family unites herbaceous genera in which the inflorescence is built as a flower head on a common receptacle. The flower head gathers white ray florets along the periphery and yellow tubular florets on a hollow conical receptacle, and it is precisely these inflorescences that provide the starting mass for processing. Steam distillation transfers only the volatile fraction of the flowers into the aqueous phase, which is why the aromatic profile of the finished product remains clearly defined. The flower tissue contains matricin, whose conversion to chamazulene explains the blue tone of the distillate. The color ranges from pale blue to dark blue throughout the entire volume. The plantations are maintained organically throughout the entire cultivation cycle. Organic cultivation is reflected in the composition, so only water and the volatile fraction of the flowers enter the liquid, without preservatives or colorants. The product is a clear liquid with uniform density. The scent stays within soft limits. The sweet and warm sides lead the aromatic profile, while the fruity nuance falls in behind them. The volatile substances are secreted in biseriate glandular hairs on the corolla and the ovary, as well as in canals inside the receptacle of the inflorescence. The main part of the volatile fraction of the flower head originates from the tubular florets, which defines the character of the scent of this finished plant distillate. Storage

Store organic German chamomile hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably dark glass, which protect the aromatherapy hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
