Description

We present organic geranium root hydrolate for supplements, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Geranium macrorrhizum. The distillate bears the name Geranium Root organic hydrolate for supplements. Steam distillation is behind the clean aromatic appearance, as only the volatile part of the rhizome of the plant itself passes through the aqueous phase. The underground part of the plant is used for processing. The underground organ is a thick, fleshy rhizome that provides the main mass for extraction, and its creeping course along the soil makes gathering the raw material easier. The color starts from light yellow and reaches greenish. The pigments of the rhizome explain this transition, which is why the plant source is also evident in the external appearance of the liquid. The aromatic strength stays within a soft range. The herbal base is accompanied by a warm and slightly sweet shade that appears later in the overall aromatic profile. The plantations are tended organically in Bulgaria. Organic cultivation limits the content to an aqueous base and volatile compounds, which is why preservatives and colorants remain outside this finished aqueous distillate. The geranium root determines both the tone and the warm herbal scent of the finished distillate.

Storage

Store organic geranium root hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for dietary supplements, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for supplements from light.
