Our organic geranium essential oil for drinks originates from the species Geranium macrorrhizum. In international practice the liquid is designated as Geranium organic essential oil for drinks. The product shows a liquid consistency, and its scent unfolds with fresh strength. The scent leads in a sweet and woody direction, joined by a herbaceous note. The note derives from the leaves of the perennial plant, which also give the liquid its yellow-greenish tone. The leaves enter steam distillation, so the volatile substances reach the oil unchanged and the scent retains the natural purity of the species itself. The purity continues in the composition, which comprises only organic plant substances without preservatives and colourants. The composition owes this purity to organic cultivation, which is why the plantations remain out of reach of synthetic detergents throughout the entire growing season of the crop. Cultivation takes place in the mountain regions of Bulgaria. The Bulgarian habitats lie within the natural range of the species, which covers Central and Southeastern Europe. The species from this range belongs to the family Geraniaceae, whose representatives occupy the temperate zones, develop palmately cut leaves and form thick creeping rhizomes. Storage

Store organic geranium essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for products for drinks, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for drinks from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for a longer period.
